Her story is so crazy too with the whole CCP trying to kidnap her family and retiring at 16 because she hated the micromanagement.
Came back fully on her own terms and it’s just beautiful to watch her skate with no burdens or expectations.

The back flip isn't hard for them and isn't worth anything point wise. Both men and women were doing this in the 80's till it was banned. They like it and people think it's impressive. That's why they do it.

Unlike the Iron Lotus which is extremely difficult and can kill you if your timing is off.

I think pretty much everyone who has watched at least 10 minutes knows this. My post is talking about aura, saying the US has it this year.

I get that it is intense competition and skaters have to be very focused, but she is the only one I’ve seen in these games that actually looks like she enjoys skating.
