I suspect we’ll “de-escalate” when we’re good and ready.
France and “liberal world order” nations who admire and strive to be CCP-like can do whatever they wish. They will likely be as relevant as they have been for the past 80 years or so….not very.

France, Germany and the UK are too far gone with demographics to not try and de-escalate it. The threat of domestic Islamic terrorist attacks is far too great.
Those three countries are lost to the Muslims. NYC and DFW are soon to follow.

Europe is owned by their massive Muslim immigrants. The natives are unarmed and the Islamists know it, so that means that France’s Military would have to engage terrorist Muslims or their own people.
Europe is essentially Muslim outside of the Natives (unarmed) starting a violent counter revolution. Very painful and likely unsuccessful at that.

Well, one thing I haven't seen mentioned here is the number of potential refugees that this war may create. Mind you, the people that this war will probably displace will have radical viewpoints on Islam. Europe is always the doormat for Middle Eastern refugees, perhaps this is them trying to act in their own best interests and not our own.
Not saying this is the case, just a thought.
