The last pick of the first round picked up 7+ signing bonus with 14 over 4 guaranteed.
He is stupid if he wants to go back to school.

He will now sue for monetary damages
He can sue of course, but if he enters the upcoming NFL draft, gets drafted and signs a contract, gets paid...
By the time it goes to court, he will have suffered little if any actual monetary damage. Case dismissed.

NFL scouts and analysts are predicting Day 3/late round/undrafted free agent in mock drafts. They have said he is inexperienced, only started QB in 2024 and is a college system QB, not NFL prototype QB.
"Chambliss struggles with post-snap coverage rotations and disguises. He can be outsmarted by dropping rushers into coverage. He does not confirm the defender's positioning before deciding whether to throw. This leads to turnover-worthy plays and testing compromised windows. Zone defenders have tricked him into making dangerous throws by masking their coverage responsibilities.
He does not have strong pre-snap recognition. He needs to make protection checks and calls to account for simulated pressure looks. Typically, he turns and checks the cards from the staff on the sideline to make any pre-snap adjustments. This is not an NFL process and will need to learn/adapt to the next level."

QBs always shoot up the boards as the draft gets closer because everyone wants one. They always get overvalued and Chambliss is coachable. He’ll get drafted before the 3rd round.

That is how pavia got more years loss of better income.
Pavia’s argument is that his time at a JUCO should not count toward NCAA eligibility since JUCO’s are not part of the NCAA.
that’s why he won, not because of money.
Chambliss being D2 was still in the NCAA so he used up all of his eligibility. .

I mean, if the guy is that raw and inexperienced and still took his team to the CFB semifinals (and had a shot to win it), you absolutely take him. Ole Miss didn't win with their defense.
He seems very coachable, and is already playing at a high level. That final play (which wasn't a desperation heave) hit the WR in his hands. That would have been a game-winning drive in 18 seconds

Not over
Agreed. I am anxiously awaiting the appeal by Ole Miss, the subsequent denial, the flurry of legal filings, the ugly, high-profile court case where the Rebs get a hearing in federal court and finally get the emotional reprieve of a legal victory so they have some spark to build hope around for next season.
And then have the court order the NCAA to give him a special portal-window exemption so he can transfer to LSU and lead Lane's new team to an ACTUAL championship.

THANK YOU!!! Someone’s paying attention.
I mean, you can’t make this stuff up!! NCAA uses competition years at schools that do NOT participate with the NCAA to limit time at schools that do. Who in Hades came up with that rule?? I swear. Some of these NCAA rules look like all the participating school reps got stoned, wrote the rules and never consulted any attorney.
One of the critiques I read from the Pavia ruling said the unspoken rebuttal the NCAA should have used is the restriction on NIL access for other players if some are allowed to stay for an indefinite amount of time.
Good times.

Ole Miss' pursuit to be the Queen of the anthill was denied, and then somebody poured hot grease on the anthill.

They appealed.
On the basis that they didn’t like the decision.
Hope it drags on for weeks.

Not to be a dick but I honestly think that eligibility needs to be strictly enforced at four years and the red shirts should be scrapped. We don’t need career college football players that play for half a dozen teams in a six year span of time.
This is getting ridiculous.
