You can get a Porsche 911 996 series for mid $20K range. I paid $23K for my Carrera 4 convertible. The original window sticker in it was for over $100K when new.
I see I’m getting down votes for my 996 post from the Porsche purists that probably hate the headlights. LOL
It is still an incredible road handling 180 mph 911.

I mean, I hate the headlights. Still a great car though.

Ahh the Triumph TR6. Beautiful car. I had a 1969 model. I loved the Sunday afternoon drives, just hated the long walks home.

At what point did emissions controls (and insurance companies?) neuter muscle cars? While the design is beautiful, was '72 the first year that the Corvette became a shadow of its former self?

My apologies for posting a response 4 times. Admins, if possible, please delete the 3 repetitive posts.
I'm not sure how it happened, but I'll do my best to keep it from happening again.

i was looking at the 71 Riviera just the day before yesterday. That boattail and back window is just sick. Beautiful car and lines.
21.5k on exotic car trader.com. Needs some work but damn that profile
I could've also included that and the early 70's MGB as well.

[/img] I still desire one of these 90's Z cars and
[/img] a third gen RX-7 but I hear maintenance and reliability on both are bitch nowadays.
