And round and round we go still talking casualty figures that are almost certainly very if not wildly inaccurate even if we do have accurate data on it, which I doubt.

So you don’t know if he’s right or wrong, right?
lol

1000 Casualties per day equals a total of about 1,440,000 in three years eleven months.
Is that outlandish? I don’t think so.

From the sources I’ve seen and people I’ve talked to Russia is losing around 20-30 soldiers per day on average at the moment.

So you're saying that Trump, Rubio and others are lying when they say Russia lost 20-30K troops each month of Oct, Nov, Dec of 2025?

What makes you think you know more about Russia's casualties than the President of the United States and the US military?

I've consistently said that anyone who would actually have an accurate number on it would not have any incentive to be truthful with those numbers

Does it come with the secret technology you’ve been working on with the Ukrainians? If so I’m interested.

I believe the longer this thing goes the better the outcome for Ukraine unless their allies cave.

Russia is willingly fighting a war of attrition at this point. They could have more or less frozen the lines if they wanted to but haven't. Why?

I think it's because they believe they will grind Ukraine down. A few ways that could go:

That's true and they do grind them down.

Russian leaders are being fed false info and and it's not true. Russia is grinding itself down to an eventual collapse

That isn't what they think and they are just playing out a bad hand that they dealt themselves.

I think it's probably the first or the third of those three, but we will see eventually.

In 1980 the USSR had a GDP that was 14x that of China. Today China has a GDP that is 10x that of Russia.

There are only two ways this ends for Russia. Very best case is as a client state of China feeding them raw materials for break even prices. And sending some of their surplus women to marry Chinese men.

The other option is actual collapse and being broken up into regional ethnic territories.

But if there was ever a moment when Europe and the US could have partnered with Russia to act as a buffer against China and N Korea....those days are long gone.

I have no idea if that was even possible. Or whose fault it was that it didnt happen. But this idea that we could end up in some sort of alliance with Russia to "save Europe from themselves" or some other such nonsense is a delusion.

We are gonna have to use our relationships with S Korea, Vietnam, Japan, Australia, the Philippines, etc to contain China. And use our traditional post WW2 NATO and EU alliances to contain Russia.

The idea of changing that alignment into some sort of new world order was never realistic. And these current conflicts spell that out more than ever.

There are lots of Chinese men who moved to Russia east of the Urals. Entire oblasts have direct trade relations with China in the same region. This is NOT new and started before 2014

I am well aware. It's not new, but it will accelerate as Russia becomes a vassal state of China. Those blonde girls will be an asset on the books just like oil, gas, timber, coal, and fresh water.

Millions of Russian men are basically unsuitable for marriage due to all the sundry effects of Soviet style hopelessness. Mostly alcoholism. But also the condition of being dead or maimed from their tour of the Donbas.

Millions of extra Chinese males ready to roll

Absolutely correct. This has been Russia's overall strategy since about late 2022 and they are still holding out hope.

This is still plan A for the Russians, although Putin has pivoted to trying to win it diplomatically.

This is also widely believed to be true. The most glaring incident of this is the Russians claiming victory over Kupiansk? (or whichever one it was) and the General who was given credit for it being publicly commended with a medal and then Zelensky going to the middle of the city and getting a picture taken. A week later that general was found dead in his home.

Considering that this was supposed to be a major victory for the Russians and NOBODY bothered to tell Putin that it was BS there is the belief that there is widespread lying going on. But, hey, we've known that about the Russians for generations now.

quote:

That isn't what they think and they are just playing out a bad hand that they dealt themselves.

I'd argue the factor they didn't see coming is the Western support. There are other major considerations, such as the Ukrainian will to fight and their own shortcomings, but Putin and his cronies were open about the idea that they thought the West wouldn't do squat. The second when the Germans broke with the Russian oil policy, however, it signaled that the West wasn't going to play by those rules and it's been support for Z and his boys by the hundreds of billions ever since.

So, yeah, you're four for four on this one. Glad to see we actually do agree on these things. Cheers.

Yeah none of that math adds up. I can respond better once you fix all that.

What should I fix? The Trump Administration's math? Or your inability to differentiate between casualties and deaths?

Here's a hint: You're not dead. But you are a casualty of whatever school system they swept you through.

Send links to that evidence of 20-30 deaths a day anytime you get ready. Standing by.

I just checked the advanced metrics. I was wrong. At the moment it’s 15-20 deaths per day not 20-30

In Poland an unknown drone crashed on the grounds of the military base in Przasnysz 70 meters from the weapons warehouse.

According to the polish media: "The unit's on-duty personnel were helpless. They watched it fly and could do nothing."

The drone fell on January 28 on the premises of the 2nd Radioelectronic Center in Przasnysz. It's suspected that it was a reconnaissance drone, scanning the antenna array.

The facility where the drone crashed is a specialized electronic warfare unit. It monitors radio space in northeastern Poland, including the Suwalki Pass.
