Idk what the meeting is about but there is Marine Corps Base Quantico. Too many people listening and leaking shite to the press at the Pentagon also.

This past weekend I was at a function, and was talking with an individual who consults with the War Department. He says many of the generals extremely dislike Hudspeth. My contact didn’t say anything about this meeting, but I gathered he (my contact) would like to see most of the general officers (and admirals) be put out to pasture.

My guess is this. They've picked up signals about a forthcoming attack on some military installation and they're putting everyone on alert .

Correct. I don't want war with Russia, and I have no doubt that they don't want war with the US. If Putin doesn't want any skirmishes with NATO and the US, then he needs to make sure his pilots don't enter NATO airspace.
That said, even if that does happen and no bombs are dropped on NATO territory, is entering NATO airspace without any hot hostilities really grounds for war with Russia? I don't think it is.

You don't. At least for someone like Maduro where a Naval task force could clean it up in short order .

Not surprising being that most of the GO corp probably got springboarded to their current position by Obama and/or Biden and they are in their position primarily because they are followers and not leaders.
