TX Dem nominee says God gave Mary a choice not to birth Jesus

He says the angel Gabriel told Mary that “This is your choice, you can turn this down”. He uses this to say abortion is God-ordained, because the Lord gives women a choice.
Look at the actual passage in Luke 1:26-38
Obviously, nowhere in there is a choice. Gabriel says “this will happen”, and Mary essentially says “good”.
Literally calling good evil, and evil, good.

Look at the actual passage in Luke 1:26-38
quote:
And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

So if I’m reading this properly, he believes that God gave Mary a chance to abort a part of the Holy Trinity? Make that make sense lawd what a world we live in.

This is why Trump should tell Thune to frick off about endorsing Cornyn.
There is no way in hell this clown wins in Texas even if Paxton sucks.

That dude has a choice whether or not to suck dick and he always chooses "yes"

For arguments sake say Mary did have a choice. To me that’s no different the the choice that is inherent in “free will”. We all have the choice of sin daily many choose poorly (raises hand). The Blessed Mother did not choose to deny Gods blessing.

Exactly. The choice was not to have the baby or kill it. Her 'choice' was to accept God's offer or turn it down.
Abortion people have to do some pretty fantastical things in their minds to justify killing babies. They are sick.

Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray

He is more Antichrist than False Prophet.

This is a fairly new pro and fantasized talking point and technically Mary did have a choice because she had free will but the choice offered by the Angel Gabriel was before she was pregnant not after.

God knew the heart of Mary and that was even before he created everything.
He knew her long before she was born and when the time would come.

I can't imagine being so twisted in my way of thinking to confuse "God gave Mary the choice to be conceived" with "God put his son in Mary's body and THEN asked her if she would like to kill it"

I honestly thought the false prophets would be harder to spot than they are. It’s too easy.

These people have their own personal jesus created in Their own image and who serves them. They do NOT care what God has to say about anything because they are their own gods, and so people of that ilk think nothing of adding to, taking away, or perverting scripture because they think it’s there to serve them.

Well, it goes like this: God realizes that he made Mary pregnant and then she might file for divorce. She's gonna want custody and then file for a massive amount of money for child suppot (God has a LOT of money). So, he tries to convince her to abort the baby and they'll reach an out-of-court settlement for her pain and suffering.

Am I the only person that thinks the GOP would have been in a better position if Crockett were the DEM nominee? I wouldn't put it past these moderate white women to buy into the garbage this POS is selling.
I don't really know Texas politics, so hopefully someone with knowledge there can provide some insight. Does this guy have a legitimate chance of beating Cornyn or Paxton in the general?
