Other vehicle is a 1998 Chevy z71 1500. It was my grandpa’s that I’ve had since he had a stroke in 2015. He passed away last year but it also still runs great and only has 115k miles on it. It’s primarily my hunting truck, but will drive it around every so often to keep the engine hot.

Keep it forever. Great truck.

To answer OP no I do not have a 2nd vehicle but would love to one day. Preferably an SUV/Truck and then a nice fast car that’s fun to drive

Pick up for daily driving.
Yukon Denali for when I need something cleaner and a little nicer than the truck.

Thought I would use the Yukon more, but there is a lot of freedom in using my PU as I really dont give a shite about it. I can be sweaty and gross, throw the dogs in the back seat and just go. Its very liberating.

Haven't had 2 cars since I got out of the car business.

At one point while I lived in Montana, I had a really nice and clean 2002 Outback as a winter vehicle and a 2008 Corvette for a fun car. They made quite a pair in the driveway and I loved them both for very different reasons.

I have two. Drive the car much more often as it’s the commute car for work and traveling what not. Drive the truck when going around town and such. Don’t really use it as much as I used to, but when I need it it comes in handy.

We have a '20 Ram 1500, '25 Mazda CX-50 and a '24 Miata RF.

It's a nice well rounded fleet. Have the truck for all of the duties around the house and with my wife's business, the CX-50 for the general utility runabout that fits easily in the garage and the Miata for when I feel the need to rip around a little or do the occasional track day or autocross event.

It's good to have choices.

Sometimes I drive it just to be nostalgic….and to compliment Toyota engineers….how is it possible to have 268,000 miles on a 4WD truck and it not have any rattles and everything all still works just like it’s supposed to?

I'm guessing it's a 2015 or older.

Newer ones aren't like that. Especially the Turbo 4 models.

James Spann (Birmingham weatherman) posts updates on his 4runner. 425k...same engine/transmission. No rebuilds. The new ones won't reach half of that...and that's being generous.

I drive dependable beaters when I drive locally. I have three to chose from - one for going to the ag store or hauling dogs around, one main commuter car, and a Suburban that I don't like to drive.

Would love a Miata as a third car. Right now I drive a Mazda sedan (a GREAT car for 10 years now) to work...pretty long commute. Trying to talk myself into a Mustang GT just to add a little spice to my commute. I have a pickup for weekend duties.

I have an 8th generation Civic Si that I play around with and mod.

Also use it as my beater for primarily city driving.

It's a ton of fun. It's great for backroads or if you ever had interest in doing anything track related.

I considered a Mustang, used Porsche Cayman, BRZ / GR 86 twins and some other stuff. I landed on the Miata because I don't drive it much, the wife loves to have a car that the top can go down and ultimately the cost of running it is really low.

I'm one of those people where some level of reason has to come into play. Since the Miata is basically a toy, I can better justify it since the cost of consumables is so low with it. If I drive it really hard, it still get about 30 mpg. Tires, brakes, even with the Brembos and all the other maintenance costs are low. I couldn't say that about the other options, except for the BRZ / 86 and I just liked the way the Miata drove better.

Yep, Ram 2500 that I drive 60-70% of the time. Then have a 2004 Tacoma that I drive when I'm by myself, hunting, landfill, etc... type runs.
