Yeah I used to eat a bunch of those .99 cent Whoppers but stopped going because of poor service at the locations near me (that eventually closed).

Wendy’s & BK used to be good but quality has been down at most locations for a while.

What if my wife and kids are out of town? Can I buy a burger in that scenario?

I guess you haven’t been to Popeyes lately but to be fair, BK’s service sucks too.

Your typos makes you a point and laugh target, but you are absolutely correct. The whopper is the GOAT fast food burger. I haven't tried the new version, sounds like I shouldn't bother.

The juice from the tomatoes mixed with mayonnaise was for sure the most distinct flavor of the (now gone) whopper. It is what made it the messiest burger of the big boys.

I miss a good whopper. It just has not been all that good in the past 10 years. Sad because I would routinely choose it over just about anyone else's growing up. It's probably due to a combination of things. Plus there seems to be less BKs now

I can still eat one and be fine but its nothing like it used to be. 20 years ago it was a phenomenal burger. Now its a passable fast food option.

I’m not convinced the quality has declined as much as other things have just improved. Sure some decline has happened, but 15-20 years ago there weren’t nearly as many options for high quality burgers and food in general like there are now.

I ate at Burger King for the first time in about ten years a few weeks ago. It will be the last time ever unless I’m with a group and have no choice.

Nothing could beat the Whopper w/cheese back in the late 70's early 80's.
Nothing better than the old BK Whopper and anything from Carl's Jr. (Hardees for some folks).
CJ had these amazing fries that I swear were lightly breaded and had a nice light crunch when you ate them.

The problem with Burger King is the fries ave always sucked. My gripe with the Whooper is it always feels too much bread to meat.

Which is why if I am forced to eat at a BK. I go with the GOAT double cheeseburger.

That flame grilled flavor and aroma sold a lot of burgers. I remember when we could see the burgers moving through the flame grill.
Were they really carcinogenic? We'll never know.

Patty too thick. Bun too bland. It's a sad day. 40 years down

The only things that were changed was the bun, mayo and putting it in a box. Burger patty is the same.

I don't know when private equity took over Burger King, but I do know that it has been complete shite for going on a couple of decades now, maybe longer.

Your review is the first negative I have seen. Most reviews say the bun is straight up better and the condiments are straight up better.

Your opinion on the matter is meaningless. There is only one true king and his name is reviewbrah, The Report of the Week.

I think they've improved recently after long lasting downturn.
